Dear Mr. Trabue,
I am writing to tell you about the wonderful experience I had with your Service Department and particularly Lori Garrett. Recently I purchased a Mercedes Benz from a private owner and that vehicle was serviced by your facility. During the transition, I had several conversations with Lori and I wanted to let you know that she displayed extraordinary customer service and her professionalism and customer service skills should be commended.
I was communicating with Lori from Maryland and she immediately took ownership of my situation, put me at ease and guaranteed me that the vehicle would be safe to drive back to Maryland and then advised me that she would have your service technician fully inspect the Mercedes. It should also be noted that Lori has a pleasant personality and a terrific attitude and is extremely knowledgeable. This is the type of service that customers value.
Based on the above, Lori appears to be a "perfect" fit for that department and if I were the owner of this company, I would feel very confident in her ability to manage the day to day operation in my absence.
Sincerely,
Ray Brooks

Dear Sir:
I want to thank you and Import Auto for the service provided to my mother, Mrs. Andrew (Jody) Ewing. After the encounter with the Tree, it will be a welcome assurance to all of use knowing that Mother's car is safe to drive and in such fine condition.
I am aware that you provided a substantial discount for the service, apparently providing (in addition to the damage inspection) a complete service inspection of fluids, hoses, brakes, and the like, as well as aligning the wheels and balancing the tires at no charge. This was far beyond any ordinary courtesy, and we very much appreciate it.
Very truly yours,
William Elliston

Dear Nelson,
First of all, thank you for allowing me 30 days to pay my bill. It was greatly appreciated. Secondly, I just want you to know that your customer service far exceeds anyone in this business. Being new to the Nashville area, I was quite concerned with finding someone with integrity that truly cared about the safety and maintenance of my car. You have taken care of that concern! I extend to you, your staff and especially your mechanics a heart felt "Thank-You" for a job well done! All of you are truly amazing!!

To the Editor:
I have some good news to share about one of our local businesses. Import Auto Maintenance located at the convergence of West End and Broadway avenues in downtown Nashville has done a good deed for our family.
Recently we took our much loved Toyota in for an oil change. This is a car that IAM has taken care of since we bought it new in 1991. In all these years there has never been a problem. However, on this occasion, after about 100 miles, the oil drain plug fell out, all the oil was lost, and the engine was ruined.
Nelson and Liz Trabue, IAM's owners, didn't hesitate. They immediately took full responsibility and replaced the engine at no cost to us.
This kind of decency and honesty is the sort of thing that makes Nashville a good place to live.
Respectfully,
Steven A. McFadyen-Ketchum

Dear Nelson,
I appreciate very much how you've gone out of your way to give me a credit for my rental car expense. Thank You so much for your shop credit.
